Turkish and US presidents Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Joe Biden on Sunday began talks on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Rome, NTV reported.

This meeting is perceived in Turkey as an important stage in the settlement of the existing disagreements between the parties, which concern, in particular, the acquisition of military equipment by Ankara. These issues and the situation in Syria and the region as a whole are priorities at the meeting of the leaders.
