President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan says he discussed the idea of the “3+3” platform in the South Caucasus with President of France Emmanuel Macron, RIA Novosti reports.

“…Macron raised the situation in the South Caucasus. We said we were there [to Azerbaijan – ed.] last week, and currently, positive actions are being taken in the South Caucasus, and our brother Ilham Aliyev resolutely wants to continue those positive steps…During this meeting [with Macron], the issue of creating a six-party platform in the region was pushed forward. If all the parties, including Russia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Iran, Georgia and Armenia all agree, Turkey will create a peace platform here,” Erdogan told reporters.
