In 2022, it is planned to implement 11 programs, with 54 measures, within the framework of cooperation with the EU and with various European financial institutions. Minister of finance Tigran Khachatryan stated about this at the parliamentary standing committees’ joint debates Thursday on Armenia’s draft state budget for 2022.

It is planned to allocate 81 billion 173 million drams (approx. $170 million) for that purpose. "Compared to 2021, the increase is 18.3 percent," the minister added.

At that, 32 billion 976 million drams of this state funding will be spent for the implementation of loan programs, and 15 billion 303 million drams—for the implementation of grant programs.

Besides, sub-loan programs in the amount of 32 billion 893 million drams will be implemented—and this will be provided with the participation of the Armenian government. That is, these are sovereign means, and the Armenian government is simply engaged in ensuring that the private sector has access to these funds.
