YEREVAN. – At around 9:50pm on November 13, an unidentified car hit Alvard Ayvazyan, 61, on the Artashat Highway in Yerevan, the woman died at the hospital, and the car fled the scene.
At 10:05am on November 14, the 25-year-old driver of the said car came to a police station and confessed that he was the one who had Ayvazyan with the car, the police informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The driver has been handed over to the investigation department, and the car involved in this incident has been impounded.
An investigation is underway.
