YEREVAN. - World famous film star Fanny Ardant will participate in the 8th Golden Apricot International Film Festival in Armenian capital as a guest of honor, said festival’s director Harutyun Khachatryan.
According to him, the visit of the beloved, talented Fanny Ardant will be present for the festival.
“She comes here with her directorial works,” said Khachatryan. Ardant will bring two films Ashes and Blood and Shimeres absentes.
Khachatryan also said the world star will give a press conference in Yerevan.
He stressed that Fanny Ardant will be awarded a special prize Parajanov Thaler Award.
Parajanov Thaler will also be awarded to Hungarian director Bela Tarr and Russian director Roman Balayan.
Yerevan will hold the 8th Golden Apricot International Film Festival from July 10 to 17. This year’s festival has a new competition program, Apricot Stone, which includes short films.
Overall, 150 films from 46 countries will be screened.
