Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan today met with Ambassador of Iran to Armenia Abbas Badakhshan Zohouri, as reported the Security Council Bureau.

At the outset of the meeting, the Secretary of the Security Council presented the operative-tactical situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

Security and peace in the region and the unblocking of infrastructures were also in the interlocutors’ focus.

Both parties expressed certainty that the border tension can be reduced and the peaceful settlement can begin as soon as possible.
