According to an agreement reached through mediation of the Russian side, starting from 6:30 p.m. firing stopped in the eastern direction of the border of Armenia, the situation has become relatively stable.

Today, at around 1 p.m., the units of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan launched an attack on the Armenian military posts deployed in the given direction of the border. The adversary also used artillery, armored vehicles and firearms of various calibers.

As a result of the response operations of the Armenian side, the adversary suffered a large number of losses of manpower, several armored vehicles were destroyed or are out or order. The Armenian side also suffered casualties.

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia reports that, currently, there are only verified data about one casualty. The number of wounded is also being verified. Another 12 servicemen are captured. Let us remind that earlier, deputy of the ruling “Civil Contract” faction of the National Assembly of Armenia Eduard Aghajanyan had reported that, according to preliminary information, the Armenian side has 15 casualties.
