Serviceman Sargis Sahakyan from Poka village of Javakhk died in Akhaltsikhe a day after he underwent a stomach operation. Jnews reports that residents of Poka village gathered in front of the forensic medicine expert examination bureau of Samtskhe-Javakheti in Akhaltsikhe.

Sahakyan, 19, was serving at a military unit in Akhalkalaki.

On Nov. 11, he underwent an ulcer surgery at a hospital in Akhaltsikhe, but his family found out about the surgery a day later.

On Nov. 16, Sahakyan was discharged from the hospital, but doctors requested that the patient return the next day. On Nov. 18, at around 1:30 p.m., the family members received a phone call telling them that the serviceman had died.

The relatives and fellow villagers demand clarification.
