Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Hakob Arshakyan, Chair of the Standing Committee on Defense and Security Andranik Kocharyan, member of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Hovik Aghazaryan, member of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs Artur Davtyan and member of the Standing Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration Aleksey Sandikov today took part in the joint online meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Parliamentary Assembly’s Permanent Commissions via video conference.

During the joint online meeting of the CSTO PA Permanent Commissions, a number of items were debated and approved by the representatives of parliaments of the participating countries. The members of the Armenian delegation presented proposals regarding some issues, and they were accepted.

Andranik Kocharyan presented to his colleagues the statement by the Armenian side on the Azerbaijani aggression of November 16, its consequences and the victims.

Highlighting the prevention of such steps, the MP considered necessary the undertaking of practical steps by everybody for the unreserved and complete withdrawal of the Azerbaijani armed forces from the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

The voting of the debated draft laws will be held during the CSTO PA plenary meeting of November 29, which again will take place via a video conference.
