A tragic road incident took place Friday in Armavir Province of Armenia, shamshyan.com reported.
At around 7:30pm, two pedestrians were hit by a car on the Yerevan-Armavir motorway, in the area of Parakar village.
The woman pedestrian died on the spot, while the girl pedestrian was hospitalized in critical condition.
The driver of this car was Armavir resident Levon Movsisyan, 57, the brother of former MP Arakel Movsisyan, and after this incident he turned himself in to the police.
