Armenian contract soldier has died amid a violation of rules for handling weapons, the Armenian Defense Ministry reported.

A contract serviceman was from one of the military units of Gegharkunik province.

"According to preliminary data, he was wounded on November 15 due to violation of the rules for handling firearms, was taken to the hospital and died a day later - on November 16," the statement comes
