French presidential candidate Eric Zemmour will arrive in Armenia on his first pre-election visit, BFM TV reports.

Zemmour has chosen Armenia, the "long-standing friend of France," as his first foreign trip as a presidential candidate.

The visit will take place from December 11 to 14.

Another French presidential candidate, Valerie Pecresse, is also due to visit Armenia before Christmas.
