A 5.0-magnitude earthquake hit western Iran on Wednesday, the Euro-Mediterranean Seismic Center reports.

The epicenter was 58 kilometers northeast from the city of Mesjede Soleyman, which has a population of 11,000. The hotbed was at a depth of 10 kilometers.

There are no reports on devastations and victims.
