Wearing face masks in open public areas will no longer be mandatory in Armenia, Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the Ministry of Health.

Accordingly, due to the recent decline in COVID-19 cases in Armenia, the requirement to wear face masks in open public spaces has been repealed in order to mitigate the coronavirus-related restrictions in the country.

But the mandatory requirement to wear face masks indoors remains in force—but with a few exceptions.
