The main Christmas tree of Yerevan will be lighted Thursday—but without a solemn ceremony. The Yerevan mayor's press secretary, Hakob Karapetyan, told about this to Armenian News-NEWS.am.
To note, no New Year fireworks will be held and there will be no festive lighting this year.
