The US may consult with Ankara over the settlement of the situation in Ukraine since Turkey is a NATO country and an ally of the Americans, Spokesperson of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said, RIA Novosti reports.

“Moscow and Kyiv don’t have difficulties, but the US, Moscow and NATO do. In this case, Turkey is a NATO country. The Americans will most probably consult with Turkey as well. After all, Turkey is an ally of the US,” he said.
