Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent a congratulatory message to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the occasion of the coming New Year and Christmas holidays. The message notes as follows, above all:

"Our regular contact during the passing year fully confirmed the friendly, allied nature of the Russian-Armenian relations.

I expect that through joint efforts we will ensure the further dynamic development of bilateral cooperation in various domains, as well as the mutual partnership cooperation within the EEU, CSTO, CIS, and other multilateral organizations. It corresponds to the fundamental interests of the fraternal peoples of Russia and Armenia, in line with the strengthening of security and stability in the Transcaucasian region."
