Reporters have been subjected to targeted attacks by rioters in Kazakhstan, but the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) was not interested in their fate and did not provide real assistance. The official representative of the Russian foreign ministry, Maria Zakharova, wrote about this on her Telegram channel on Saturday.

Also, she brought several examples of such attacks, including the attack by rioters on the Kazakh branch—in the former capital Almaty—of Mir television and radio company.

"And here is the most interesting thing: Neither the OSCE, nor any international human rights organization, no one was even interested in the fate of the reporters of Mir and of other media, let alone in any real help. No one even thought of commenting on this cave vandalism," Zakharova stressed.
