Armenian defense minister and secretary of the CSTO Council of Ministers of Defense,  Suren Papikyan, on Monday had a telephonic conversation with Russian defense minister Sergey Shoygu, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

They discussed the situation on the ground in Kazakhstan, the process of implementation of the decisions by the CSTO Collective Security Council and the Council of Ministers of Defense, as well as the activities of the CSTO Collective Peacekeeping Forces, and exchanged views on the respective measures being taken.
