From January 11 India imposed a week quarantine for all foreign tourists, including vaccinated, the Association of Tour Operators in Russia (ATOR) reported.

Due to the widespread new variety of coronavirus travelers arriving in India, regardless of vaccination status, will be required to undergo a seven-day quarantine. After the quarantine, a paid PCR test must be taken and the result uploaded to the Air Suvidha portal.

Experts also advise Russian tourists who are going to India to take another paid PCR test upon arrival in the country. Its result must be awaited at the airport.

But the official rules of the Indian authorities provide for such test only for tourists arriving from "risk group" countries. Russia is not on this list. Despite this, most Russian tour operators warn that such test is necessary.

Another innovation is a curfew in Goa, which is in force from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. But according to tourists from India, no one observes this rule. The nightclubs on the coast of this state are now almost crowded.
