At around 3:15pm on Tuesday, the units of the Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire on the Armenian military positions located at the sector of Verin Shorzha village of Gegharkunik Province of Armenia, as a result of which one Armenian serviceman sustained a moderate gunshot wound.
He adversary’s fire was silenced by the retaliatory actions of the Armenian side, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
As of 5pm, the situation on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border is relatively stable and is under the full control of the Armenian Armed Forces.
