YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd newspaper of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: Zhoghovurd daily learned that the NA [(National Assembly)] committee of inquiry studying the use of funds collected by the Hayastan All Armenian Fund and transferred to the state budget of the Republic of Armenia will actively hold sessions in the coming days.

We have found out who will take part in the upcoming sessions. In particular, today RA former Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Zaruhi Batoyan will take part in the session, tomorrow—RA former Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan, and already on January 14—former Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Mesrop Arakelyan.

Let us remind that a considerable part—more than 52 billion drams—of the funds raised by the Hayastan All Armenian Fund during the days of the 44-day [Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh)] war [in Fall 2020] had been transferred to the [Armenian] government—in the form of a donation. But various information emerged about the spending of that amount, and the committee of inquiry intends to check them as well to identify corruption risks and manifestations.
