Armenian Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan and French Ambassador to Armenia Anne Louyot discussed human rights protection issues in Armenia, the official Facebook page of the ombudsman reported.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to the professional activities of journalists, women's and children's rights.

In addition, Tatoyan presented to the ambassador the results of his visit to Paris. According to him, issues related to the human rights situation in the post-war period were discussed in detail during the meetings. The need for a security zone to protect the rights of the Armenian population residing on the border was also discussed.

The ombudsman thanked the ambassador for the fact that French authorities pay special attention to the rights of the Armenian community.
