The price of copper on Thursday morning is declining under the pressure of the US dollar strengthening after the meeting of the Federal Reserve System (FRS), according to trading data.

The price of March futures for copper on the Comex exchange is reduced by 0.38% to 4.4392 dollars per pound (about 0.45 kilograms).

On the London Metal Exchange (LME), on Wednesday, the cost of a ton of copper with delivery in three months increased by 1.18%, to $9,916.5, aluminum - by 0.06%, to $3,094, zinc - by 1.05% , up to 3610 dollars.
