STEPANAKERT. – Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) President Arayik Harutyunyan received a group of members of the Artsakh Freedom Fighters' Union, on the occasion of Defender of the Homeland Day, and awarded them with state awards for their significant contribution to the defense of the homeland.

Expressing gratitude for their patriotic service, the Artsakh head of state once again stressed that the aftermath of the recent war cannot sidetrack from the path of state-building, for which the Armenian people have been fighting for more than thirty years, the Artsakh President's press office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to President Harutyunyan, the noble mission that the defenders of the homeland carry out every day is a way to ensure the survival of the homeland, and the guaranteed development depends on joint and cooperative work.
