The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in Russia increased by 113,122 over the past day, to 11,615,779, the federal operational headquarters for combating a new infection told reporters on Saturday, TASS reports.

The number of hospitalizations due to coronavirus in Russia per day amounted to 14,570, which is 3.7% higher than the previous day. The number of hospitalizations increased in 46 regions. A day earlier, it was 14,046.

The number of people recovered after being infected with coronavirus increased by 30,010 against 29,506 a day earlier. In total, 10,189,207 cases of recovery were registered.

The number of so-called active cases, i.e. patients currently being treated, has risen to 1,096,461.

The number of deaths increased by 668 per day, to 330,111.
