The Ministry of Economy of Armenia has issued a number of statistics.

Accordingly, the economic activity index the country increased by 5.8% in 2021 compared to the previous year.

Last year, the branches of Armenia’s economy grew as follows, compared to 2020: Services: + 7.8%, trade: + 7.5%, construction: + 7.4%, and industrial products: + 3.3%.

In the observed year, however, a decline of 1.1% was registered in the country’s agricultural sector.

In December 2021, the economic activity index in Armenia increased by 24.1% as compared to the previous month, and by 9.9% as compared to the same month of the previous year.

To note, the consumer price index of Armenia increased by 7.2% in 2021 compared to the previous year.
