Today, 1,543 people infected with the coronavirus are hospitalized in Armenia, of which 256—or 16.6 percent—have been vaccinated. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated about this at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting  of the government.

"That is, vaccination’s considerable impact on the processes is obvious," he said.

Pashinyan noted that they expect a certain increase in these numbers, they have certain respective algorithms, but they hope that these numbers will not be higher than the predicted yardstick.

The Premier said the COVID-19 vaccination percentage is very low in Armenia, and that steps needed to be taken to increase it.

He noted that there is an increase in coronavirus among the country’s employees, and that the third—booster—shots are also very important.
