Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has commented on the controversial reports of Bloomberg and Bild.

"A global information-political marathon of NATO's wishes. We have noticed many times how pro-Westerners spoil the Olympic Games. But the current approach to the projectile was invented by real perverts who are ready for anything," Zakharova wrote on her Telegram channel.

German newspaper Bild had published a report by anonymous secret services about Russia's alleged "plan" to occupy Ukraine.

This publication of Bild appeared after Bloomberg agency’s nightly publication which said about the alleged "invasion" of Ukraine by Russia. But later, Bloomberg said this article was a mistake, removed it, and assured that the cause of this occurrence was being investigated.
