Armenia has never set conditions in the matter of border demarcation and delimitation [with Azerbaijan]. Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, stated this at a press briefing Thursday.

Commenting on the recent "attack" by the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry on Armenia with respect to some conditions proposed by the Armenian side, Grigoryan noted: "Armenia has only demanded to fulfill all the obligations reached in Sochi [(Russia)] on November 26 [last year], and they are mentioned in the [respective] statement: to take steps to increase security, then to start the process of [Armenia-Azerbaijan border] demarcation and delimitation. Armenia wants the agreements to be fulfilled.

Besides, there is an important circumstance. When the armed forces of Armenia and Azerbaijan are very close [to each other], any political process can affect the situation and become a cause for [its] aggravation. Armenia proposes a ‘mirror’ withdrawal of troops, to deploy border troops there so that the process of [Armenia-Azerbaijan border] demarcation and delimitation can be carried out calmly. There can be no perception of even a condition in this [proposal]."
