Moscow does not plan to demand a public apology from the Western media for fakes about Russia's allegedly planned invasion of Ukraine, but hopes that henceforth the authors of the frantic statements will take a more serious and responsible approach, said press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.

"Russia, probably, intends to wait for a more serious, more responsible and truthful approach from those representatives who make such rabid irresponsible statements, and those mass media that absolutely abuse these statements, which do not pay attention to their reputation, which ready to trample him down into the mud," he noted.

Peskov stated that now there are many Western newspapers, TV channels and radio stations that do not shun anything.

The press secretary of the Russian President explained that there are no plans to file lawsuits against publications for such publications.
