British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss has arrived in the Ukrainian capital on a visit, British Ambassador to Kyiv Melinda Simmons announced.

"Wheels down for Liz Truss arrival in Kyiv," she wrote on Twitter.

As the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported, Truss' visit is aimed at deepening relations of strategic partnership between the states, coordinating further actions to strengthen security on the European continent. Truss is scheduled to have talks with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba.
