European aircraft manufacturer Airbus said it had suspended support for Russian airlines and the supply of parts to Russia, adding that its engineering center in Russia had suspended all operations for Airbus in line with the sanctions, Reuters reported.
According to the Federal Air Transport Agency, as of mid-February 2022, Russian airlines use 322 Airbus aircraft, they provide 41% of the total passenger traffic of Russian airlines.
