The prices of Moscow-Yerevan-Moscow flights have increased sharply in recent days, reaching from $250 to $1,250, director of International Travel and Tourism Company JOEL, Sona Yeghiazaryan told NEWS.am.
Ticket prices range from $1,250 to $1,350 for a round-trip ticket. At the same time, without luggage, they are $1,300.
"The cost of NORDWIND airline tickets goes up to $2,000," said Yeghiazaryan.
Such a significant increase in the price of air tickets, she said, is due to the military actions between Russia and Ukraine.
The Head of the International Transport and Tourism Company also pointed out that in February of this year, the cost of the same air tickets ranged from $200 to $250.
At the same time, representatives of several travel agencies said that they had only business class tickets left.
Our agency has also been told that Ural Airlines will not operate Yerevan-Moscow flights in the next days. The problem is caused by a ban on flights of Siberia Airlines' A320 aircraft. S7 Airlines cancelled all international flights on Airbus aircraft.
