International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director-General Rafael Grossi during his visit to Tehran agreed with the Iranian authorities on comprehensive technical cooperation for the subsequent agreement to work on the resumption of the JCPOA, Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said.

He said the agency had questions about a number of Iranian facilities, but Iran pledged to provide clarifications within one to two months, Kommersant reported.

"During Grossi's visit, which took place amid negotiations in Vienna (on the resumption of the Iranian nuclear deal), a comprehensive technical cooperation between Iran and the IAEA was agreed, based on which a phased agreement will be concluded," Khatibzadeh said at a press conference.

He noted that the parties had agreed that within the next one to two months, this cooperation would provide answers to all questions of interest to the agency if it refrains from politicization and pressure. He stressed that there is a direct link between these questions and the agreement in Vienna.
