The Polish government is ready to transfer all its MiG-29 fighters to the US airbase in Germany.

"The authorities of the Republic of Poland, after consultations between the president and the government, are ready to immediately and without compensation deploy all its MiG-29 fighters at the Rammstein airbase and hand them over to the US," the Polish Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

At the same time, Poland is asking the US to provide second-hand aircraft with appropriate operational capabilities. Poland is ready to immediately set conditions for the purchase of the planes.

The Polish government also asks other NATO allies with MiG-29s to act in the same spirit.
