The United States needs to make a decision to revive the Iran nuclear deal, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said, Mehr reported.

Highlighting that the pause in the talks in Vienna was due to a request by the EU negotiating coordinator, Khatibzadeh said the talks can resume and an agreement will be reached as soon as the US makes the necessary decisions.

He said the current US administration is showing a different stance in the talks every day and thinks it can deprive Iran of its national interests by raising issues such as timelines. Khatibzadeh said that EU coordinator Enrique Mora and Josep Borrell would announce the date for the resumption of the talks.
