At Thursday's Cabinet meeting of the government of Armenia, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan reminded that it is already the third meeting that they are attending without face masks.

"It depends on the fact that the coronavirus disease situation in Armenia is quite good today. Three weeks ago we had observed a declining trend in new cases and had predicted that we would have declining numbers," he said.

Pashinyan, however, stressed that if the anti-Covid vaccination process is not organized properly in Armenia, the latter will have to return to the face mask procedure.

"So my call, request is for vaccinations to continue properly. The [current] level that there is in vaccinations is not satisfactory," Pashinyan added.

Also, he recalled that about 9,000 people have died in Armenia as a result of the coronavirus.
