Italy may block the export of raw materials to make up for a potential shortage related to the Ukrainian crisis, Deputy Industry Minister Gilberto Pichetto Fratin said, Reuters reported.

The intention is to intervene by banning the export of the few goods we have, Pichetto Fratin Fratin told parliamentary hearings.

According to him, when there is a shortage of steel, for example, the export of scrap alone damages the country. Therefore, it is expected that there will be an export blocking decree, it is one of the most likely options.
