The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) made a decision to exempt food products and goods used in their production from import customs duty for six months.
The decision concerns, in particular, animal and dairy products, vegetables, sunflower seeds, juices, sugars, cocoa powder, amino acids, starches, and other food products.
Goods for production and sale of food products; goods for production of pharmaceutical, metallurgical and electronic products; goods used for development of digital technologies; goods for production of light industry products, as well as goods used in construction and transport industries are also exempted from import duty for six months.
