YEREVAN. – The criminal investigation by the Investigative Committee of Armenia has revealed a number of circumstances of the death of soldier Albert Siroyan, Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the committee.
At around 9:10pm on March 16, Private Siroyan, a conscript, was fatally wounded in the combat position of his military unit, and from a shot fired to his chin from a rifle registered to him.
As a result of the aforesaid criminal investigation, his two fellow servicemen—a private and a junior sergeant—have been detained
The criminal investigation continues.
