The gas supply to the Republic of Artsakh has been again stopped because of the direct intervention of the Azerbaijani side, Artsakh Information Center informed NEWS.am.

"We would like to inform you that due to the direct intervention of the Azerbaijani side the gas supply to the Republic of Artsakh has been again stopped.

We have sufficient grounds to state that during the repair work of the gas pipeline that exploded on 8 March, the Azerbaijani side installed a valve through which it stopped the gas supply hours ago. Unfavorable weather conditions serve Azerbaijan's insidious aim to create additional humanitarian problems for our people, which is a crime.

The situation was immediately reported to the command of Russian peacekeeping forces deployed in Artsakh, together with which the authorities of Artsakh are making appropriate efforts to restore gas supply.

At the same time we urge citizens to use power as sparingly as possible in order to avoid possible power cuts," the statement says.
