UN Secretary-General António Guterres calls on Azerbaijan and Armenia for restraint amid the deterioration of the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh. UN Secretary-General Spokesman Stéphane Dujarric said this at a briefing Friday.

“The Secretary-General is concerned about reports of new fighting in and around Nagorno-Karabakh. The Secretary-General urges the parties to refrain from any action, statements that could aggravate the situation, or to resolve all issues, including through humanitarian dialogue, through direct dialogue within existing standards,” he said.
