The Russian peacekeeping contingent continues to carry out its tasks in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh), the Russian defense ministry reports.
"At 27 observation posts, Russian peacekeepers carry out the monitoring of the situation and the overseeing of the maintenance of the ceasefire regime around the clock.

Two cases were recorded of ceasefire regime violation in the Askeran region by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. Two people, each, were wounded from all sides as a result of the shootout. The command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, in cooperation with the representatives of the conflicting parties, has stabilized the situation.

As a result of the negotiations held, the Azerbaijani side has carried out the withdrawal of its [army] units from the territory of Parukh settlement. The units of the Russian peacekeeping contingent have ensured the escorting of three convoys of the Republic of Azerbaijan through the Lachin corridor," the Russian defense ministry statement added, in particular.
