The head of Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations Andranik Piloyan has been detained, the Anti-Corruption Committee has confirmed this to NEWS.am.

As previously reported, the Anti-Corruption Committee summoned Minister of Emergency Situations Andranik Piloyan for questioning on Tuesday. The minister had no status in the criminal case filed as of yesterday. It is not yet known which criminal case is under investigation.

Yesterday Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent Piloyan on vacation for 14 days. Yesterday law enforcers conducted searches at the Ministry of Emergency Situations. After the search, law enforcers took several employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to the Anti-Corruption Committee for questioning.
