We condemn the systematic violations of human rights, military attacks, and the destruction of the Armenian cultural heritage of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh). Alvise Maniero, a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Parliament, stated this, the Embassy of Armenia in Italy reported.

"While international attention is focused on the conflict in Ukraine, hostilities have resumed in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), the side with more military means is allowing abuse against those with less means.

And while people in Italy and Europe are justifiably worried about [natural] gas supplies, the Azerbaijanis blew up the [natural] gas pipeline supplying Artsakh—leaving the people of Artsakh without heating and hot water, depriving them of the opportunity to cook hot food, whereas the temperature outside is -8 degrees [Celsius].

Let's not forget the many ongoing conflicts that do not make an audience," the Italian MP added.
