The foreign minister of Azerbaijan said he observed "some positive messages" from Armenia.

Jeyhun Bayramov told a joint news conference Thursday with OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Zbigniew Rau, that response was given yet from Armenia to Azerbaijan's calls to open regional transport communications and start the border delimitation process, Azerbaijani media reported.

He reminded that Azerbaijan had made a new proposal a month ago on the process of normalization of relations with Armenia, and introduced five respective basic principles.

"We are still waiting for a concrete answer. We have observed some positive messages from Armenia. I want to assume that this is a manifestation of Armenia's serious approach to this issue. In this case, we are ready; it is time to take real steps. We hope that the results will be visible in the near future," Bayramov said.
