The Turkish president called Azerbaijan's actions in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) a "defensive response."
"Azerbaijan fully complies with the provisions of the trilateral agreement [between Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan]. Therefore, there is no violation by Azerbaijan. As there was an attack on Azerbaijan, there was also a defensive response," Recep Tayyip Erdogan told Turkish reporters after returning from Uzbekistan on Thursday, CNN Turk reported.
