People who have not realized to this day that they are not defending Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) by hanging the Artsakh flag from the NA rostrum (…) are attempting to secure cheap political dividends. Vagharshak Hakobyan, an MP of the ruling majority “Civil Contract” Faction in the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, stated this Tuesday from the NA rostrum.
"An idea was heard here that, 'We are leaving for Artsakh to follow the most important agenda and defend the citizens of Artsakh.' I want to claim the opposite. They [i.e., Armenia’s opposition lawmakers] are leaving for Artsakh right now, putting the citizens of Artsakh and Armenia in danger. Keep this in mind," Hakobyan added, above all.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, the two opposition NA factions have announced Tuesday that they will not participate in this week's NA sessions and are leaving for Artsakh.
