YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: The incident of not letting the [Armenia National Assembly (NA)] oppositionists to enter Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] was actively being discussed yesterday in various circles.

The opposition believes that this is the idea of the [Azerbaijan President] Aliyev-[Armenia PM] Pashinyan duo, whereas our sources in Artsakh assure that the Russian peacekeepers acted alone—they were afraid of possible provocations.

The authorities’ circles were not ruling out that the Russian side would issue an official explanation or make comments about it through Russian political scientists that, judging by the statements made by the RA NA oppositionists and the [Artsakh national] flag-raising ceremonies in the parliament hall, some circles in Artsakh might have gotten excited, and this could have caused internal political aggravations, some [people] in Artsakh could have gone on to adventurism, and they [i.e., the Russian peacekeepers] might not have carried out the mission assigned to the peacekeepers within the framework of their mandate, so they tried to prevent such an outcome by banning the entry of the MPs.
